Harold Dole

Harold Dole was born July 21, 1928 to Ernest and Isidore Dole in Fowler, Colo.

Harold met the love of his life Irene Nicks in the Kutch area and married her on September 11, 1948. This union was blessed with four boys.

Harold and Irene stayed in the Matheson area and along with raising their four sons they also raised cattle. Harold loved his Holsteins. He spent 40 years working for Elbert County Road and Bridge. After retirement he continued enjoying raising cattle and spending time with his cattle buddies at the sale barn each week.

Harold is preceded in death by his wife Irene, one son, his parents and siblings. He is survived by three sons, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held at Loves Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m.
