NO ONE INJURED IN SHOOTING AT LIMON MOTEL

Limon Police officers are still investigating a shooting incident at a local motel last week.

According to Police Chief Lynn Yowell, they received a “shots fired” report at 10:44 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 at the K & S Motel located at 385 MaIn St. Officers quickly arrived on the scene to discover that an exterior air conditioning unit had been destroyed by a single bullet that ended up lodging in the motel’a roof. Whoever fired the shot did it from outside the building.

“No one was injured in this incident,” Chief Yowell said. “We are still investigating. If anyone in the community has information about this shooting, please call the Limon Police Department.”
